    Ingredients:

    8 slices of fresh white bread or brioche

    1 cup strawberry rhubarb jam (homemade or store-bought)

    2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

    1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional, for added depth)

    Fresh strawberries or mint leaves for garnish (optional)

     

    Instructions:

    1. Arrange the slices of bread on a clean, dry surface.

    2. Lightly butter one side of each slice, ensuring full coverage to the edges.

    3. Spread a generous spoonful of strawberry rhubarb jam onto the buttered side of half the slices.

    4. Optional: Sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon over the jam for an extra warm note.

    5. Top each with a remaining slice of bread, buttered side down, to form a sandwich.

    6. For a classic tea sandwich look, trim the crusts and slice each sandwich diagonally or into quarters.
