Red Velvet Oreo Cake Roll Explosion

Experience the ultimate indulgence with the Red Velvet Oreo Cake Roll Explosion , where rich red velvet cookies meet luscious cream cheese frosting in a delightful dessert. Perfect for any celebration, this treat will satisfy your sweet cravings and impress your guests!

    Ingredients:

    For the Cake:

    – 15.25 ounces red velvet cake mix
    – 2 eggs
    – ¾ cup vegetable shortening

    For the Frosting:

    – 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
    – ½ cup butter, softened
    – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    – 2½ cups powdered sugar

    Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a mixing bowl, combine the red velvet cake mix, eggs, and vegetable shortening until a thick dough forms.

Roll the dough into balls of uniform size for even baking.

Place the dough balls on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 8 minutes.

Transfer the cookies to a cooling rack immediately after baking to prevent overcooking.

Prepare the frosting by beating together the cream cheese, butter, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar until smooth and fluffy.

Assemble the cake roll by spreading the cream cheese frosting on the cooled cookies and sandwiching them together.
