    • 1 small green cabbage (1½–2 lbs), thinly sliced

    • 1 cup tomato sauce

    • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
    • 1 tsp garlic powder
    • 1 tsp onion powder
    • 1 tsp kosher salt

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
    2. Spread raw shredded cabbage evenly in the bottom of the dish.
    3. In a bowl, season ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix gently.
    4. Sprinkle the seasoned beef evenly over the cabbage layer.
    5. Mix tomato sauce + beef broth, then pour evenly over the casserole.
    6. Cover with foil and bake for 35 minutes.
    7. Remove foil, add cheddar cheese on top.
    8. Bake uncovered for 10–15 minutes until bubbly and fully cooked.
    9. Let rest 5–10 minutes before serving.
