    Buffalo Chicken Cheese Balls Recipe

     

     

    Indulge in the ultimate Buffalo Chicken Cheese Balls, a perfect fusion of creamy and spicy flavors! Made with shredded chicken, cream cheese, and sharp cheddar, these delightful bites are coated in crispy panko breadcrumbs. Ideal for game day or as easy appetizers, they can be fried or baked for a healthier option. Serve them warm with your favorite dipping sauces like ranch or blue cheese for an irresistible treat. These cheesy goodness bites are sure to impress at any gathering!

    Ingredients:

    2 cups shredded cooked chicken

    1 cup cream cheese, softened

    ½ cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

    ½ cup buffalo wing sauce (adjust to taste)

    1 tsp garlic powder

    1 tsp onion powder

    ½ tsp salt

    ½ cup panko breadcrumbs (for coating)

    ½ cup all-purpose flour (for coating)

    2 large eggs, beaten (for coating)

    Cooking spray or oil (for frying)

    Instructions:

    1. Prepare the Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, sharp cheddar cheese, buffalo wing sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined for a flavorful buffalo chicken appetizer.

    2. Form the Balls: Scoop about 1-2 tablespoons of the mixture and roll it into a ball using your hands. Place the formed balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Continue until you have used up all the mixture, making roughly 12-15 cheese balls perfect for any occasion.

    3. Coat the Cheese Balls: Set up a breading station with three shallow bowls:

    One with flour

    One with beaten eggs

    One with panko breadcrumbs

    Roll each cheese ball in flour, shaking off the excess. Dip into the beaten eggs, then coat it completely with panko breadcrumbs for that crispy texture. Place the coated cheese balls back on the baking sheet.

    4. Cook the Cheese Balls:

    Frying Method: Heat oil in a deep pan or fryer to 350°F (175°C). Fry a few cheese balls at a time until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes. Use a slotted spoon to remove and drain on paper towels.

    Baking Method: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange the cheese balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet and lightly spray with cooking spray. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and fully heated for a healthier option.
