Broiled Lobster Tail with Garlic Butter

Indulge in tender, juicy broiled lobster tails brushed with garlic butter, lemon, and paprika the ultimate seafood dinner recipe that’s perfect for holidays, date nights, or any special occasion. Ready in under 20 minutes!

    Ingredients:

4 lobster tails (5–6 oz each)
    ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
    3 cloves garlic, minced
    1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
    1 tsp paprika
    ½ tsp salt
    ½ tsp black pepper
    Lemon wedges (for serving)
    Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

    Directions:

Preheat your oven broiler to high heat and line a baking sheet with foil for easy cleanup.
Prepare the lobster tails: With kitchen shears, carefully cut through the top shell lengthwise. Pull the meat up gently so it rests on top of the shell.
Make the garlic butter: In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Brush the lobster meat generously with the garlic butter mixture.
Broil for 8–10 minutes, until the lobster meat turns opaque and golden brown on top.
Serve immediately with extra garlic butter, lemon wedges, and a sprinkle of fresh parsley for that restaurant-quality finish.

    Chef’s Tips:

For richer flavor, add a dash of smoked paprika or Old Bay seasoning.
Pair with steamed asparagus, garlic mashed potatoes, or buttered corn for a complete meal.
To avoid overcooking, check the lobster after 7 minutes it’s done when the internal temperature reaches 140°F (60°C).
