    White German Chocolate Cake
    White Chocolate Dream Cake with Coconut Pecan Frosting

    A rich, ultra-moist white chocolate cake layered with a creamy coconut-pecan filling! This heavenly dessert is perfect for holidays, celebrations, and anyone who loves German chocolate cake, white chocolate recipes, and decadent coconut desserts.

    Ingredients:

    Cream Cheese Cake Center (Rich & Creamy Layer)
    16 oz cream cheese, softened
    1/2 cup granulated sugar
    1/2 tsp vanilla extract
    2 large eggs
    1/4 cup sour cream
    White Cake Base
    1 box (15.25 oz) white cake mix
    Ingredients listed on the cake mix (eggs, oil, water)
    1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
    1/2 cup chopped pecans
    Classic Coconut Pecan Frosting
    1 cup evaporated milk
    1 cup granulated sugar
    3 large egg yolks
    1/2 cup unsalted butter
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    1 1/2 cups sweetened shredded coconut
    1 cup chopped pecans

    Instructions:

    Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans for easy release.

    Beat softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until silky smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well. Fold in sour cream and set aside.

    Prepare the white cake mix according to package directions. Stir in coconut and pecans for extra texture and flavor.

    Divide half the batter between the pans. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over both. Pour remaining batter on top.

    Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool in pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire racks.

    In a saucepan, whisk evaporated milk, sugar, egg yolks, and butter over medium heat. Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened (about 10 minutes). Remove from heat and mix in vanilla, coconut, and pecans.

    Once completely cool, frost between layers, on top, and around the sides with the warm coconut-pecan frosting.
