    Ultimate Blackberry Cobbler Recipe

This Blackberry Cobbler is a perfect blend of juicy berries and a golden, tender crust, making it an irresistible dessert for any occasion. The simple yet delicious recipe uses fresh blackberries coated in a sweet cornstarch mixture, topped with a slightly lumpy batter that bakes to perfection. With just 15 minutes of prep time, you can create a dessert that’s sure to impress. Serve it warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra touch of indulgence.

    Ingredients:

    For The Berries:
    – ½ cup white sugar
    – 2 tablespoons cornstarch
    – 6 cups fresh blackberries
    – ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted

    For The Batter:
    – 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
    – 1 ½ cups white sugar
    – 1 tablespoon baking powder
    – 1 teaspoon salt
    – 2 cups milk
    – ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
    – 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

    Instructions:

    1. Preheat Your Oven:
    – Set your oven to 350°F (175°C).
    – Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish to ensure easy serving.

    2. Prepare the Blackberry Filling:
    – In a small bowl, combine sugar and cornstarch.
    – Place the blackberries in a large bowl, drizzle them with melted butter, and sprinkle the sugar-cornstarch mixture over the top.
    – Toss everything together until the berries are evenly coated, then spread them into your prepared baking dish.

    3. Whip Up the Batter:
    – In another bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
    – Slowly add the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract, stirring just until combined. The batter should be slightly lumpy, which ensures a tender crust.

    4. Combine and Bake:
    – Pour the batter over the blackberries in the baking dish, making sure it covers the fruit evenly.
    – Bake for 55 to 60 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the berries are bubbling and tender.

    5. Serve and Savor:
    – Let your Blackberry Cobbler cool slightly before serving.
    – Pair it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an even more indulgent treat.

    Prep Time: 15 minutes | Cook Time: 55-60 minutes | Servings: 8-10
