    Slow Cooker Sirloin Stew

This Slow Cooker Sirloin Stew is the ultimate comfort food, perfect for cozy family dinners. Tender sirloin cubes simmered in a rich, savory broth with fresh carrots, celery, and peas create a hearty, flavorful dish. Easy to prepare and packed with nutrients, it’s ideal for busy days or lazy weekends. Let your slow cooker do the work while you enjoy the irresistible aroma filling your kitchen. Serve with crusty bread or mashed potatoes for a complete, satisfying meal!

    Ingredients:

2 pounds sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes

    1/4 cup all-purpose flour

    1/2 teaspoon salt

    1/4 teaspoon black pepper

    2 tablespoons vegetable oil

    1 medium onion, chopped

    2 garlic cloves, minced

    3 cups beef broth

    1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

    1 teaspoon dried thyme

    2 bay leaves

4 carrots, peeled and sliced into thick rounds

    2 celery stalks, chopped

    1 cup frozen peas, thawed

    Directions:

    1. Prepare the Sirloin: Toss sirloin cubes in flour, salt, and pepper, ensuring an even coat. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the sirloin in batches until browned on all sides, locking in flavor. Set aside.

    2. Sauté Aromatics: In the same skillet, add a bit more oil if necessary. Cook chopped onion and minced garlic until softened and aromatic, forming the base of the dish.

    3. Assemble in the Slow Cooker: Transfer the sirloin, onion-garlic mixture, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, dried thyme, and bay leaves to your slow cooker. Nestle carrots and celery into the broth for added depth. Cover and cook on low heat for 8 hours, letting the flavors meld beautifully.

    4. Add Final Touches: In the last 30 minutes, stir in the peas for a pop of freshness. Remove bay leaves before serving.

    5. Serve & Enjoy: Dish up the tender sirloin stew, pairing it with crusty bread or mashed potatoes for a complete, satisfying meal.
