Slow Cooker Beef and Broccoli Recipe

Ingredients:
1.5 pounds boneless beef, cut into 2-inch cubes
¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
¼ cup brown sugar
1 cup low-sodium beef broth
2 tablespoons sesame oil
Salt, to taste
Pepper, to taste
1 teaspoon finely minced ginger
1 teaspoon finely minced garlic
1 tablespoon Sriracha sauce (optional for a spicy kick)
3 tablespoons cornstarch
2-3 cups frozen broccoli florets
1 teaspoon sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Add the beef, soy sauce, brown sugar, beef broth, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, and Sriracha sauce into your slow cooker. Mix everything well.
2. Cover and cook on high for 3 hours or low for 5 hours, until the beef becomes tender.
3. Remove ⅓ cup of the liquid from the slow cooker and transfer it to a small bowl. Add the cornstarch, whisk until smooth, and pour it back into the slow cooker. Mix well.
4. Add the broccoli florets to the slow cooker.
5. Cover and cook for another 30 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken.
6. Garnish with sesame seeds and serve hot over steamed rice.
Notes:
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
