    Simple Roti and Wrap Recipe

    Ingredients:
    – 2 cups of all-purpose flour
    – 2 tablespoons of margarine
    – 1 tablespoon of oil
    – 1/4 teaspoon of salt
    – 1 cup of boiling water

    Instructions:

    1. Prepare the Dough:
    – In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt.
    – Using your fingertips, incorporate the margarine into the flour until it resembles coarse crumbs.
    – Drizzle in the oil and mix thoroughly.

    2. Form the Dough:
    – Gradually add the boiling water to the flour mixture, stirring continuously until a dough forms.
    – Be cautious with the hot water.

    3. Knead the Dough:
    – Once the dough is cool enough to handle, transfer it to a lightly floured surface.
    – Knead the dough for 8-10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.

    4. Rest the Dough:
    – Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for at least 30 minutes.

    5. Cook the Roti:
    – Divide the dough into equal-sized balls.
    – Roll each ball into a thin circle, approximately 8 inches in diameter.
    – Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook each roti for about 30 seconds on each side until golden brown spots appear.

    6. Serve Warm:
    – Keep the cooked rotis covered with a towel until ready to serve to maintain their softness.

Enjoy your freshly made rotis or wraps!
