Featuring savory breakfast sausage, creamy eggs, and crispy hashbrowns, this dish is sure to become a family favorite breakfast casserole.

    Ingredients:

1 lb ground breakfast sausage (crumbled and browned)
1 (30 oz) bag frozen hashbrowns, thawed
    8 large eggs
    8 oz cream cheese, softened
    1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
    1/2 cup milk
    1 small onion, chopped
    1/2 tsp garlic powder
    1/4 tsp ground black pepper
    1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (optional topping)

    Instructions:

    1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish.

    2. In a skillet, cook breakfast sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain and set aside.

    3. In the same skillet, sauté chopped onion for 3–4 minutes until soft and fragrant.

    4. In a large bowl, whisk eggs and softened cream cheese until smooth. Stir in milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

    5. Add thawed hashbrowns, cooked sausage, and sautéed onions into the egg mixture. Mix well to combine.

    6. Pour into prepared baking dish and spread evenly.

    7. Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the top. Add mozzarella for extra cheesiness if desired.

    8. Bake uncovered for 40–45 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is golden and bubbly.
