    Sausage and Cream Cheese Crescent Rolls Recipe

     

     

    These Sausage and Cream Cheese Crescent Rolls are a delicious, crowd-pleasing appetizer or breakfast treat that’s easy to make! The flaky crescent rolls are filled with a creamy sausage mixture, creating a savory, satisfying bite. Perfect for parties, brunches, or holiday gatherings, these rolls bake in just 10-12 minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley or thyme for a pop of color and added flavor. With simple ingredients and minimal prep, they’re a must-try for any occasion!

    Ingredients:

    1 lb breakfast sausage

    1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened

    2 cans crescent roll dough

    Optional: Fresh parsley or thyme for garnish

    Directions:

    1. Cook the Sausage: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the breakfast sausage until it’s browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess grease for the best taste and texture.

    2. Combine with Cream Cheese: Transfer the cooked sausage to a mixing bowl. Add the softened cream cheese and stir until the mixture is smooth and well blended.

    3. Prepare Crescent Roll Dough: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll out the crescent dough, separating it into triangles.

    4. Fill and Roll: Place a spoonful of the sausage and cream cheese mixture on the wide end of each crescent triangle. Roll the dough tightly, starting from the wide end toward the tip, ensuring the filling stays inside.

    5. Bake: Arrange the filled crescents on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the crescent rolls are golden brown.
