    Potato Lasagna with Chicken

     

     

    This Potato Lasagna with Chicken is a delicious twist on the classic lasagna, using layers of tender shredded chicken, creamy cream cheese, and thinly sliced potatoes. Perfectly seasoned with garlic, onion, and parsley, it’s a comforting, hearty dish that the whole family will love. The provolone cheese on top adds a delightful, golden finish. Easy to make and bake, it’s an ideal meal for any occasion! Try this comforting dish for a hearty dinner tonight!

    Ingredients:

    2 tablespoons olive oil

    1 chopped onion

    2 crushed garlic cloves

    450g cooked and shredded chicken

    1 cup tomato sauce

    1 cup cream cheese (200g)

    Salt, black pepper, and chopped parsley to taste

    500g peeled potatoes

    Olive oil for greasing

    400g grated provolone cheese for sprinkling

    Preparation:

    1. In a pan, over medium heat, heat the olive oil and fry the onion and garlic for 4 minutes.

    2. Add the shredded chicken, tomato sauce, and sauté for 3 minutes.

    3. Stir in the cream cheese , season with salt, black pepper, and chopped parsley, and mix until combined.

    4. Slice the potatoes using a mandolin and soak them in water until ready to use.

    5. In a greased medium casserole dish, alternate layers of the chicken stew, sliced potatoes, and cheese, finishing with a generous layer of grated provolone cheese.

    6. Bake in a preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.

    7. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and serve!
