Ingredients
1 lb pizza dough (homemade or store-bought)
2 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup shredded provolone cheese (or mozzarella)
1/2 cup thinly sliced beef or steak tips (cooked)
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp chili powder (optional, for a Tex-Mex kick)
1 tsp dried oregano
Salt, to taste
Marinara or queso cheese sauce, for dipping
Directions
1. Preheat Oven: Set oven to 425°F (220°C) and prepare a baking sheet with nonstick spray or parchment paper.
2. Roll Out Dough: Roll pizza dough into a rectangle on a lightly floured surface.
3. Garlic Olive Oil: In a bowl, combine olive oil with minced garlic. Brush this garlic-infused oil over the entire dough surface.
4. Layer with Cheese & Beef: Sprinkle grated Parmesan and half of the shredded provolone or mozzarella over the dough. Spread thinly sliced beef evenly on top. Add garlic powder, oregano, and salt for seasoning.
5. Fold and Cut: Fold the dough in half, pressing lightly, then use a pizza cutter to slice it into strips.
6. Twist & Arrange: Twist each strip and place on the baking sheet. Top with remaining provolone and a sprinkle of chili powder, if desired.
7. Bake: Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
