    Mom’s Secret Soft Rolls Recipe

    Ingredients:

    5 cups cake flour
    1 tsp salt
    1 tbsp sugar
    1 packet (10g) yeast
    1 cup boiling water
    1 cup lukewarm milk
    1/2 cup oil or melted butter

    Instructions:

    Mix wet and dry ingredients: In a bowl, combine boiling water, lukewarm milk, and oil. Gradually add to flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
    Knead the dough: Knead for 7–8 minutes until smooth and elastic.
    First rise: Cover the dough and leave it in a warm place to double in size, about 1 hour.
    Shape rolls: Punch down the dough, divide into 12–14 small balls, and place them on a greased or parchment-lined baking pan.
    Second rise: Let the rolls rest and rise for 15 minutes.
    Bake: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 16–18 minutes until golden brown.
    Finish: Brush warm rolls with butter or margarine for an irresistible soft crust.
