    Million Dollar Spaghetti Casserole Recipe

    This Million Dollar Spaghetti Casserole is the ultimate comfort food, combining creamy layers of cream cheese, sour cream, and cottage cheese with hearty ground beef and rich spaghetti sauce. It’s perfect for family dinners, offering a cheesy, indulgent meal that’s both satisfying and easy to make. With a crispy, melted cheese topping, this dish is sure to impress everyone at the table. Whether you’re serving it for a weeknight meal or a potluck, it’s a crowd-pleaser that’s simple to prepare. Pair it with garlic bread for the ultimate comfort food experience!

    Ingredients:

    1 lb of ground beef

    1 jar of spaghetti sauce

    8 oz of cream cheese

    ¼ cup sour cream

    ½ lb cottage cheese (1 cup) or Ricotta cheese

    ½ cup butter (1 stick)

    1 package (16 oz) spaghetti noodles

    Grated Cheddar cheese or Parmesan cheese (or both!)

    Servings: 4-6

    Instructions:

    1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

    2. Boil the spaghetti noodles until al dente, then drain and set aside.

    3. In a bowl, blend together cream cheese, sour cream, and cottage cheese until smooth.

    4. Brown the ground beef in a skillet, drain the excess grease, and stir in the spaghetti sauce.

    5. Grease a 9×13 baking dish with butter slices. Layer half of the cooked spaghetti noodles in the dish.

    6. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the noodles.

    7. Layer the remaining spaghetti noodles on top of the cheese mixture. Add a few more slices of butter on top.

    8. Pour the meat sauce over the entire dish, spreading it evenly.

    9. Bake uncovered for 30 minutes.

    10. After 30 minutes, sprinkle the grated Cheddar and/or Parmesan cheese on top. Return to the oven for an additional 15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
