A Family-Friendly Ground Beef Dinner Ready in 30 Minutes!

Looking for a quick and satisfying weeknight dinner? This Easy Cheeseburger Pie is a delicious twist on your favorite burger, baked into a comforting pie! Perfect for busy nights, picky eaters, and fans of simple ground beef recipes.

    Ingredients (Serves 4–6):

    1 lb (450g) ground beef

    1 small onion, chopped

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or your favorite cheese blend)

    ½ tsp garlic powder

Salt & black pepper, to taste

For the quick Bisquick-style batter topping:

½ cup Bisquick mix (or any all-purpose baking mix)

    1 cup milk

    2 eggs

    Instructions:

    1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish or baking dish.

    2. Brown the beef & onions:
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and chopped onion until the beef is no longer pink. Drain excess grease.
Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

    3. Assemble your cheeseburger pie:
Spread the beef mixture evenly in the prepared pie dish. Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.

    4. Make the batter topping:
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the Bisquick mix, milk, and eggs until smooth. Pour the batter evenly over the beef and cheese layer.

    5. Bake:
Place in the oven and bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.

    6. Rest & serve:
Allow the cheeseburger pie to cool for 5–10 minutes before slicing.

    Serving Suggestions:

Top with pickles, a drizzle of ketchup, or a squirt of mustard for full cheeseburger flavor!

Pair with a side salad, oven fries, or steamed veggies for a complete meal.
