    Absolutely! This recipe combines the classic flavors of sloppy joes with the indulgent goodness of cheesy garlic bread. It features a savory ground beef mixture seasoned with onions, bell peppers, and garlic, simmered in a tangy tomato sauce. The mixture is served on top of French bread halves that have been slathered with a garlic butter and sprinkled with mozzarella cheese. It’s a comforting and delicious twist on a traditional favorite, perfect for a cozy family dinner or casual gathering.

     

    Delicious Cheesy Garlic Bread Sloppy Joes Recipe

    Ingredients:

    For the Garlic Bread:

    – 1 loaf French bread, cut in half lengthwise
    – 4 tablespoons butter, softened
    – 2 cloves garlic, minced
    – 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
    – 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

    For the Sloppy Joes:

    – 1 pound ground beef
    – 1 small onion, finely chopped
    – 1 green bell pepper, finely chopped
    – 2 cloves garlic, minced
    – 1 cup tomato sauce
    – 1/2 cup ketchup
    – 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
    – 1 tablespoon brown sugar
    – 1 teaspoon chili powder
    – Salt and pepper to taste

    Directions:

    1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
    2. In a small bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley. Spread this flavorful mixture evenly over the cut sides of the French bread. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese generously on top.
    3. Place the prepared bread on the baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is gooey and the bread is delightfully golden brown.

    4. While the bread is baking, let’s whip up the Sloppy Joes! In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until it’s perfectly browned and cooked through. Drain any excess fat.
    5. Add the finely chopped onion, bell pepper, and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until the veggies are tender.
    6. Stir in the tomato sauce, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Let it all simmer together for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

    7. Once the garlic bread is done, take it out of the oven and allow it to cool for a moment. Then, slice it into individual servings and generously top each piece with the savory Sloppy Joe mixture.
    8. Serve immediately and savor the scrumptious blend of flavors!
