    Crockpot French Onion Meatballs with Melted Mozzarella

    An easy slow cooker comfort food dinner packed with rich French onion flavor and juicy, tender meatballs perfect for busy weeknights or cozy family meals!

    Ingredients:

    1 lb ground beef
    ½ cup breadcrumbs
    ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
    1 large egg
    1 onion, finely chopped
    1 tsp garlic powder
    1 tsp salt
    ½ tsp black pepper
    2 cups beef broth
    1 packet French onion soup mix
    1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

    Directions:

    In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, chopped onion, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined.

    Roll the mixture into meatballs about 1–1½ inches in size.

    Place meatballs in a single layer at the bottom of your slow cooker.

    In a separate bowl, whisk together beef broth and French onion soup mix. Pour evenly over the meatballs.

    Cover and cook on LOW for 6–8 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until meatballs are tender and fully cooked.

    About 15 minutes before serving, sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the meatballs. Cover and let the cheese melt until bubbly.

    Serve warm as a main dish or appetizer. Delicious with mashed potatoes, egg noodles, rice, or crusty bread!
