    These Crock Pot French Onion Meatballs are a comforting and flavorful dinner option that’s incredibly easy to make. Juicy meatballs are simmered in a rich French onion sauce, creating a savory dish perfect for any night of the week. Add Swiss cheese for a gooey, cheesy topping that enhances the dish even more. Serve over mashed potatoes, pasta, or rice for a hearty, satisfying meal. Perfect for busy weeknights or when you want an effortless comfort food recipe!

    Ingredients:

    1 lb (450 g) ground beef

    1/4 cup breadcrumbs

    1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

    1 egg

    1 tsp garlic powder

    1 tsp onion powder

    Salt and pepper to taste

    2 cups French onion soup (canned or homemade)

    1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

    1 tbsp soy sauce

    1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese (optional, for topping)

    Instructions:

    1. Make the Meatballs:

    In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until combined and shape into 20-24 evenly sized meatballs.

    2. (Optional) Brown the Meatballs:

    Heat a skillet over medium heat and brown the meatballs for 2-3 minutes on each side for added flavor.

    3. Load the Crock Pot:

    Arrange the meatballs in the bottom of your Crock Pot or slow cooker.

    4. Mix the Sauce:

    In a bowl, whisk together French onion soup, Worcestershire sauce, and soy sauce. Pour this flavorful mixture over the meatballs.

    5. Cook:

    Cover and cook:

    Low setting: 4-6 hours

    High setting: 2-3 hours
    The meatballs should be cooked through and tender.

    6. Add Cheese and Serve:

    For cheesy meatballs, sprinkle shredded Swiss cheese over the meatballs during the last 10 minutes of cooking. Serve hot over mashed potatoes, rice, or pasta for a hearty meal.
