    Creamy Tuscan Shrimp

    This Creamy Tuscan Shrimp is a rich and flavorful dish featuring garlic butter shrimp, sun-dried tomatoes, and a luscious Parmesan cream sauce. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner, it pairs beautifully with pasta, rice, or crusty bread. The Italian seasoning and fresh basil add a burst of aromatic goodness. With its one-pan simplicity, this recipe makes cooking easy and cleanup a breeze. Indulge in this restaurant-quality meal at home with minimal effort!

    Ingredients

    For the Shrimp:

    1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
    Salt and pepper, to taste
    1 tablespoon olive oil
    1 tablespoon butter

    For the Creamy Tuscan Sauce:

    2 tablespoons butter
    4 cloves garlic, minced
    1 small onion, finely chopped
    ½ cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
    1 cup chicken broth
    1 cup heavy cream
    ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
    1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
    ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
    Salt and pepper, to taste
    2 cups baby spinach
    ¼ cup fresh basil, chopped

    Instructions:

    Sauté the Shrimp:

    Season shrimp with salt and pepper.
    Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
    Cook shrimp for 1-2 minutes per side, until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.

    Prepare the Creamy Sauce:

    Add butter, garlic, and onion to the same skillet. Sauté until fragrant.
    Stir in sun-dried tomatoes and cook for another minute.
    Pour in chicken broth, deglazing the pan.
    Add heavy cream, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Stir well.
    Let simmer for 5-7 minutes, or until thickened.

    Combine & Serve:

    Return shrimp to the skillet, coating it in the creamy sauce.
    Add spinach and fresh basil, cooking until the spinach wilts.
    Serve over pasta, rice, or with crusty bread for a restaurant-worthy meal.
    Garnish with extra Parmesan and basil for an irresistible touch!
