    Creamy Beef & Mushroom Rice Casserole Bake

    Looking for an easy, family-friendly ground beef dinner recipe that’s packed with flavor? This Creamy Beef & Mushroom Rice Bake is a cozy, hearty casserole dish loaded with savory beef, tender mushrooms, and creamy rice perfect for busy weeknights or a satisfying weekend meal.

     

    Ingredients:

    1 lb ground beef

    1 cup fresh mushrooms, chopped

    1 small onion, diced

    1 cup uncooked white rice

    1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup

    2 cups beef broth

    1/2 cup sour cream

    1 tsp garlic powder

    Salt & black pepper, to taste

    1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional, for topping)

     

    Directions:

    1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

    2. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with chopped mushrooms and diced onions. Drain any excess grease.

    3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the beef mixture with uncooked white rice, cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, sour cream, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed.

    4. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Cover tightly with aluminum foil.

    5. Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until the rice is tender and fully cooked.

    6. If using, remove the foil, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top, and bake uncovered for an additional 5 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.

    7. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired. Enjoy!
