Looking for an easy seafood appetizer that’s bursting with flavor? These Crab-Stuffed Cheddar Bay Biscuits with rich Lemon Butter Sauce are the perfect savory bite for any occasion. Made with a simple biscuit mix, tender lump crab meat, and sharp cheddar cheese, these golden biscuits are filled with creamy, seasoned crab and brushed with a zesty garlic-lemon butter glaze. A must-try seafood biscuit recipe that’ll impress any crowd!

    Ingredients:

    For the Cheddar Bay Biscuits:

2 cups biscuit mix (like Bisquick)

    1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

    2/3 cup milk

    1/2 tsp garlic powder

    For the Crab Filling:

    1 cup lump crab meat

    2 tbsp mayonnaise

    1 tbsp Dijon mustard

    1 tsp lemon juice

    1 tbsp chopped parsley

    Salt and pepper to taste

    For the Lemon Butter Sauce:

    1/4 cup butter

    1 tbsp lemon juice

    1 tsp garlic, minced

    1 tsp chopped parsley

    Instructions:

    1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    2. Prepare the crab filling: In a medium bowl, gently mix lump crab meat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, parsley, salt, and pepper. Set aside.

    3. Make the biscuit dough: In a large bowl, combine biscuit mix, shredded cheddar cheese, milk, and garlic powder. Mix until a soft dough forms.

    4. Assemble the biscuits: Divide dough into 8 equal portions. Flatten each piece, spoon crab filling into the center, and fold the dough around the filling to seal.

    5. Bake: Place stuffed biscuits on the baking sheet. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown.

    6. Make the lemon butter sauce: In a small saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Add lemon juice, minced garlic, and parsley. Stir until fragrant.

    7. Serve: Brush warm biscuits generously with the lemon butter sauce. Serve immediately and enjoy!

    Perfect for:

    Party appetizers
    Holiday gatherings
    Seafood lovers
    Quick weeknight dinners
