Cinnamon Apple Fritter Bites with Sweet Vanilla Glaze

Savor the irresistible flavors of these Apple Fritter Bites, where tender, cinnamon-kissed apples meet a crispy, golden exterior. Perfect for breakfast, a snack, or a sweet dessert, these bite-sized delights are quick and easy to make. Drizzled with a luscious vanilla glaze, they’re a guaranteed crowd-pleaser that you’ll want to whip up again and again.

    Ingredients:

    – 2 cups all-purpose flour
    – 2 teaspoons baking powder
    – 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
    – 1 teaspoon cinnamon
    – 1/2 teaspoon salt
    – 2 large eggs
    – 3/4 cup milk
    – 2 cups diced apples (peeled and cored)
    – Vegetable oil, for frying

    For the Glaze:

    – 1 cup powdered sugar
    – 2-3 tablespoons milk
    – 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

    Instructions:

    1. Mix the Batter:

    1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
    2. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs and milk together. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
    3. Gently fold in the diced apples.

    2. Fry the Fritters:

    1. Heat about 2 inches of vegetable oil in a large, deep skillet over medium heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
    2. Carefully drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Fry each side for 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown.
    3. Remove the fritters with a slotted spoon and drain them on paper towels.

    3. Prepare the Glaze:

    1. In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.

    4. Glaze the Fritters:

    1. After the fritters have slightly cooled, dip them in the glaze or drizzle it over the top.
    2. Allow the glaze to set for a few minutes before serving.
