    Cheesy Ranch Potatoes and Smoked Sausage Recipe

    Cheesy Ranch Potatoes and Smoked Sausage Recipe

    Ingredients:
    – 1 lb Monon Meats smoked sausage, thinly sliced
    – 2 lbs potatoes, diced
    – 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
    – 1 packet ranch dressing mix
    – 1/2 cup milk
    – 1/4 cup melted butter
    – 1 onion, finely diced
    – 2 cloves garlic, minced
    – Salt and pepper to taste
    – 1/2 cup chopped green onions for garnish

    Directions:

    1. Preheat the Oven:
    – Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    2. Cook the Sausage:
    – In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the sliced sausage until cooked through. Set aside.

    3. Sauté Onions and Garlic:
    – In the same skillet, sauté the diced onions and minced garlic until translucent.

    4. Mix Ingredients:
    – In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced potatoes, cooked sausage, sautéed onions and garlic, shredded cheddar cheese, ranch dressing mix, milk, and melted butter. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

    5. Prepare the Baking Dish:
    – Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish, spreading it out evenly.

    6. Bake:
    – Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 60 minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 15 minutes or until the potatoes are tender and golden.

    7. Garnish and Serve:
    – Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
