    Ingredients:

3 medium potatoes, peeled and grated

    1 onion, thinly sliced

    1 carrot, grated

    5 cloves of garlic, minced

100g cheese, grated (cheddar or mozzarella works great)

A handful of spring onions, finely chopped

    1 egg

    Salt, to taste

    3 tablespoons of all-purpose flour

    Instructions:

    1. Grate the potatoes and squeeze out any excess water using a clean towel or cheesecloth.

    2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the grated potatoes, sliced onion, grated carrot, minced garlic, cheese, and chopped spring onions.

    3. Add the egg, salt, and flour. Mix well until everything is fully combined.

    4. Heat a skillet with a bit of oil over medium heat.

    5. Scoop a spoonful of the mixture into the pan and flatten it into a patty.

    6. Fry until golden and crispy, about 3–4 minutes per side.

    7. Serve hot with sour cream, yogurt dip, or your favorite sauce.
