    Cheddar-Crusted Ground Beef and Rice Casserole

    This cheesy ground beef and rice casserole is the ultimate comfort food! Packed with savory ground beef, creamy sour cream, zesty tomato sauce, and melty cheddar cheese, this easy baked casserole is perfect for a family dinner, potluck, or meal prep.

    Ingredients:

    1 lb ground beef

    1 cup cooked rice

    1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

    1/2 cup sour cream

    1/2 cup tomato sauce

    1 small onion, diced

    1 teaspoon garlic powder

    Salt and pepper to taste

    Fresh parsley for garnish

    Directions:

    Preheat the Oven

    Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    Cook the Beef Mixture

    In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and diced onion until the beef is browned and the onion is soft. Drain excess fat.

    Combine Ingredients

    Stir in garlic powder and tomato sauce.

    Add cooked rice and sour cream, mixing well.

    Season with salt and pepper to taste.

    Assemble the Casserole

    Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.

    Evenly sprinkle cheddar cheese on top.

    Bake to Perfection

    Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

    Garnish & Serve

    Sprinkle with fresh parsley.
