Ingredients:
– 2 sheets of puff pastry (square-shaped)
– 2 tablespoons honey
– 100 grams blue cheese, crumbled
– 100 grams grated Parmesan cheese
– 50 grams walnuts, chopped
– 6-8 sprigs fresh thyme leaves
– 1 tablespoon milk
– Sea salt and cracked pepper
Directions:
1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). If using an electric non-fan-forced oven, you can increase the temperature to 200°C (390°F).
2. Prepare Puff Pastry: Drizzle 1 tablespoon of honey on each sheet of puff pastry.
3. Add Toppings: Divide the walnuts, blue cheese, and Parmesan cheese, and scatter evenly over each sheet of puff pastry. Top with fresh thyme leaves and season with sea salt and cracked pepper.
4. Roll and Cut: Roll up each sheet of pastry and cut in half lengthways. Tuck the pastry in after cutting to keep the filling inside.
5. Twist and Shape: On a sheet of baking paper, carefully twist each length of pastry and shape it into a round coil. Brush with milk.
6. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes until the pastry is puffed, golden, and cooked through.
7. Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven, scatter extra thyme leaves on top, and serve warm.
