    Authentic Filipino Lumpia Recipe

    2. Season and Add Vegetables: Lower the heat and stir in minced garlic, salt, pepper, soy sauce, green onions, and cabbage. Sauté for an additional 5 minutes.
    3. Cool the Filling: Once cooked, let the filling cool slightly.
    4. Prepare the Wrappers: Lay the spring roll wrappers on the counter. Place a small spoonful of filling in a line towards the edge of each wrapper, lengthwise.
    5. Roll the Lumpia: Fold the edges of the wrapper in and carefully roll up the rest of the wrapper. Use a small amount of water to seal the edges.
    6. Fry the Lumpia: Heat 3 to 4 inches of oil in a deep skillet. Carefully add 5 lumpias at a time and cook until golden brown.
    7. Drain and Serve: Remove the lumpias from the oil and drain on a paper towel. Repeat until all the lumpias are rolled and fried.
