    These Savory Spinach and Cream Cheese Puff Pastry Bites are a must-try for your next gathering. The flaky puff pastry combined with a rich, creamy spinach filling creates a delightful flavor experience. To make them, sauté garlic and spinach, then mix with cream cheese and mozzarella. Spoon the mixture onto puff pastry squares, fold, and bake until golden. These elegant bites are perfect warm or at room temperature, ensuring they’ll be a hit at any party.

    Ingredients:

    – 1 sheet puff pastry
    – 7 ounces baby spinach
    – 2 garlic cloves, minced
    – 1 tablespoon olive oil
    – 8 ounces cream cheese
    – 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
    – 1 egg
    – 1 egg yolk (for egg wash)
    – Salt and pepper to taste

    Instructions:

    1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper to avoid sticking.

    2. Prepare Spinach Mixture: Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Sauté the minced garlic until soft and fragrant, about 2 minutes. Add the baby spinach, season with salt and pepper, and cook until wilted. Remove from heat and let the mixture cool.

    3. Prepare Puff Pastry: Roll out the puff pastry sheet and cut it into either 6 large squares or 12 smaller squares, depending on your preference. Arrange the squares on the prepared baking sheet.

    4. Make Filling: In a bowl, mix the cooled spinach mixture with cream cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, one egg, salt, and pepper until well combined.

    5. Assemble Puffs: Spoon a portion of the spinach and cheese filling onto the center of each puff pastry square. Fold two opposite corners of each square towards the center to create a neat packet.

    6. Brush and Bake: Beat the egg yolk and brush it over the top of each pastry square for a golden, glossy finish. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and crispy.

    7. Cool and Serve: Allow the puff pastry bites to cool slightly before serving. These Spinach and Cream Cheese Puffs are delicious warm or at room temperature, making them a versatile appetizer choice.
