Spaghetti Casserole

 

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb extra-lean ground beef
  • 2 garlic cloves °1 onion
  • 1 tablespoon (15 mL) Italian seasoning
  • 3 cups (750ml) milk
  • 1 1/3 teaspoon (330 ml) hot water )
  • 12 oz spaghetti,
  • 3 teaspoon pasta sauce (1 jar)
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 c freshly grated Canadian Parmesan or grated Italian cheese blend
  • Fresh basilic

Directions:

Let’s get started the recipe:

In saucepan, brown beef on medium-high heat, breaking it up with spoon; drain fat. Adding garlic, onion also herbs; cooking also stirring for 3 min Add milk and 1 cup (250 mL) water; simmer. Stir in broken spaghetti; bring to simmer, stirring often. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for about 5 mins, stirring once, until spaghetti softens. Stirring in pasta sauce also red pepper; covering & simmer, stir often & adding more hot Sprinkling with cheese also serving Garnished with basil.
