1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced against the grain

1 tbsp hoisin sauce

2 medium yellow onions, sliced into wedges

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp grated fresh ginger

1/4 cup beef broth or water

1/2 tsp sugar

 

Instructions:

1. Marinate the Beef: In a bowl, combine beef slices with soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch. Let marinate for 15–20 minutes.

2. Stir-Fry the Onions: Heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Add onions and stir-fry until slightly caramelized. Remove and set aside.

3. Cook the Beef: Add the remaining oil, then stir-fry the beef quickly until browned but tender.
