Ingredients:

5 chicken quarters, skin removed (or substitute with 5 chicken breasts)

1 tsp all-purpose seasoning

1 tsp chicken seasoning

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp garlic powder

½ tbsp fresh green seasoning (like cilantro, scallion, and thyme blend)

2 packets Goya Sazon con Culantro y Achiote

4 tbsp honey

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. Prepare the chicken: Remove the skin from the chicken quarters and place them in a large mixing bowl.

3. Season generously: Add all the dry seasonings all-purpose seasoning, chicken seasoning, onion powder, garlic powder, and Goya Sazon along with the fresh green seasoning and 2 tablespoons of honey.

4. Massage the marinade into the chicken thoroughly to ensure every piece is well-coated.

5. Arrange the seasoned chicken in a large baking dish and place it in the oven uncovered.

6. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes, basting the chicken every 20–30 minutes with its natural juices for maximum flavor and moisture.

7. After 1 hr 15 min, remove the dish and drizzle the remaining 2 tablespoons of honey evenly over the chicken.

8. Return to the oven and bake for another 15 minutes.

 

Pro Tip:

For extra color and that delicious caramelized finish, turn up the oven to 400°F for the last 15 minutes. Don’t forget to baste again for a beautiful glaze!
