    One-Pot Zesty Steak Pasta

    The Ultimate Easy Weeknight Dinner!

    Craving a hearty, flavor-packed dinner that’s quick to make and easy to clean up? This One-Pot Zesty Steak Pasta is loaded with tender steak, bold spices, and cheesy goodness all in a single pot! Perfect for busy weeknights, family dinners, or meal prep.

     

    Ingredients:

    1 lb steak (sirloin or flank), thinly sliced for juicy, tender bites

    8 oz pasta (penne or fusilli) perfect for soaking up the zesty sauce

    1 tbsp olive oil
    for sautéing

    1 medium onion, chopped

    3 cloves garlic, minced adds bold flavor

    1 red bell pepper, chopped adds sweetness and crunch

    1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes with juice rich and tangy base

    2 cups beef broth deepens the savory flavor

    1 tsp Italian seasoning classic herb blend

    1 tsp red pepper flakes (adjust to taste) adds that spicy kick!

    Salt and pepper, to taste

    1 cup grated Parmesan cheese for creamy, cheesy richness

    2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional) for a fresh, herby finish

     

    Instructions:

    1. Sear the Steak:
    Heat olive oil in a large deep skillet or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add the sliced steak, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned (about 2–3 minutes per side). Remove steak and set aside.

    2. Sauté the Veggies:
    In the same pot, add onion, garlic, and red bell pepper. Cook until onions are soft and fragrant, about 3–4 minutes.

    3. Add Pasta and Liquid:
    Stir in diced tomatoes (with juice), beef broth, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Add uncooked pasta and bring everything to a simmer.

    4. Cook Together:
    Cover and cook for about 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender and most of the liquid is absorbed.

    5. Finish and Serve:
    Return the steak to the pot and stir in the grated Parmesan. Let it melt into a creamy, zesty sauce. Garnish with parsley and serve hot!

     

    Pro Tips:

    Use pre-cooked steak for a super-fast version.

    Swap red bell pepper with green or yellow for variety.

    Add spinach or mushrooms for extra veggies!
