    Irresistible Sausage Rolls with Sweet Heat Pepper Jelly

     

    Irresistible Sausage Rolls with Sweet Heat Pepper Jelly

     

    These crispy, golden-brown sausage rolls are packed with savory sausage, melty cheese, and a hint of spice, making them the perfect party appetizer, game day snack, or holiday treat! Pair them with sweet heat pepper jelly for an unforgettable flavor explosion!

    Ingredients:

    1 pound (450g) sausage meat

    1 sheet puff pastry, thawed

    1/4 cup breadcrumbs

    1/4 cup grated cheese (cheddar or your choice)

    1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

    1 teaspoon garlic powder

    1 teaspoon onion powder

    Salt and pepper to taste

    1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

    Sweet heat pepper jelly, for dipping

    Directions:

    Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
    In a bowl, mix together sausage, breadcrumbs, cheese, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
    Roll out puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut into 4×6-inch rectangles.
    Place a spoonful of the sausage mixture along one edge of each pastry rectangle.
    Fold the pastry over the filling, sealing the edges with a fork for a decorative touch.
    Place rolls seam-side down on the baking sheet and brush with egg wash for a golden finish.
    Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and flaky.
    Serve warm with a side of sweet heat pepper jelly for dipping!
