Ingredients:
1 lb steak (cut into strips)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon butter
4 cloves garlic (minced)
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 cup rice (uncooked)
2 cups beef broth
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
Directions:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak strips, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 3–4 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt butter. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
Stir in honey, soy sauce, and Dijon mustard. Let the sauce simmer for 2–3 minutes.
Add rice and beef broth. Stir well, bring to a simmer, then cover and reduce heat to low. Cook for 15–18 minutes until rice is tender.
Return steak to skillet, stir to combine, and cook for 2–3 more minutes.
Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
