    This Garlic Shrimp Spaghetti recipe offers a delightful blend of savory flavors, with tender shrimp and aromatic garlic complemented by Italian seasonings and a hint of spice from red pepper flakes.

    Garlic Shrimp Spaghetti

     

     

    Ingredients

    – 1 lb medium shrimp, deveined and tails removed
    – 1 lb spaghetti noodles (more or less, depending on family size)
    – 6-8 cloves of garlic, chopped (to taste)
    – 1/4 cup butter
    – Olive oil (3 sprays)
    – Italian seasoning
    – Freshly ground black pepper
    – Red pepper flakes
    – Salt
    – Herbs (to taste)

    Instructions

    1. Cook the pasta: Boil the spaghetti noodles in salted water until tender. Add olive oil, salt, and fresh herbs during cooking. Drain the pasta, reserving 1 cup of cooking water.

    2. Prepare the shrimp: While the pasta is cooking, wash the shrimp.

    3. Cook the shrimp: Melt butter over medium heat. Add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink and begin to curl. Add garlic and cook for another 5-7 minutes. Spray with olive oil and continue stirring until the shrimp are fully cooked.

    4. Mix with pasta: Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the shrimp. Stir in Italian seasoning, freshly ground black pepper, red pepper flakes, and salt. Add just enough reserved pasta cooking water so the mixture is not dry, starting with 1/4 cup and adding more as needed.

    5. Incorporate and heat: Toss all ingredients in the skillet until well combined and heated through.
