    Creamy Chicken and Broccoli Baked Alfredo

     

    Indulge in the ultimate comfort food with Chicken and Broccoli Baked Alfredo! This creamy casserole combines tender chicken, fresh broccoli, and perfectly cooked pasta, all coated in rich Alfredo sauce. Topped with gooey mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, it’s baked to golden perfection. Perfect for busy weeknights or cozy family dinners, this dish is as easy to make as it is delicious.

    Ingredients:

    2 cups penne pasta (uncooked)

    2 cups fresh broccoli florets

    1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast (cut into bite-sized pieces)

    2 tbsp olive oil

    3 cloves garlic (minced)

    2 cups Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)

    1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

    1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

    1 tsp Italian seasoning

    Salt and pepper (to taste)

    Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)

    Instructions:

    Cook the Pasta and Broccoli:

    Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the penne pasta until al dente.

    In the final 2 minutes of cooking, add the broccoli florets. Drain and set aside.

    Sauté the Chicken:

    Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.

    Add chicken pieces, season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook for 5–7 minutes or until golden and fully cooked.

    Mix the Alfredo Sauce:

    In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, broccoli, sautéed chicken, Alfredo sauce, 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, and 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese. Stir until well-coated.

    Assemble the Dish:

    Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish. Pour in the Alfredo mixture and spread evenly.

    Top with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese for a cheesy finish.

    Bake to Perfection:

    Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, until the cheese is bubbling and golden brown on top.

    Serve and Enjoy:

    Remove from the oven, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve hot.
