Ingredients:
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 green bell pepper, chopped
2 cups mushrooms, sliced
1 onion, sliced
1 tbsp oyster sauce
2 tbsp soy sauce
½ tsp black pepper (freshly ground)
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sesame oil
2 tbsp vegetable oil
¼ cup water
Directions:
In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch with water to make a slurry. Set aside.
Heat vegetable oil in a wok or skillet over medium-high heat.
Add garlic and onion; sauté until fragrant.
Add chicken pieces and cook until lightly browned.
Stir in mushrooms and bell pepper, cooking until just tender.
Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
Pour in the cornstarch slurry and stir until the sauce thickens and coats the chicken and vegetables.
