Ingredients:
– 2 pounds lean ground beef
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 2 tbsp chopped onion
– 2 tbsp red bell pepper, chopped
– 2 tbsp green bell peppers
– ½ cup ketchup
– 3 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
– 2 tsp light brown sugar
– 1 tsp onion powder
– 2 cups Cheddar Cheese, shredded
– ⅓ cup milk
– 1 tbsp butter
– 1 cup Cheddar Cheese, additional for sprinkling
Instructions:
1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Add chopped green and red peppers, onions, salt, and pepper. Drain excess fat from the pan.
2. In a small bowl, mix together ketchup, Worcestershire Sauce, onion powder, and brown sugar. Stir well.
3. Add the sauce mixture to the skillet with the ground beef. Stir to combine.
4. In a saucepan, melt shredded cheese, milk, and butter together over low heat, stirring until smooth.
5. Heat 3 tbsp of oil in a clean skillet over medium heat.
6. Lay out large tortillas and spoon a generous portion of the sloppy joe mixture onto each tortilla. Top with cheese sauce. Roll the tortillas into burritos.
7. Fry each burrito in the hot oil for 1 to 2 minutes per side until golden brown. Drain on a paper towel-covered plate.
8. Sprinkle with additional shredded Cheddar cheese before serving. Enjoy!
