    Creamy Milk Frosting Recipe

    Creamy Milk Frosting Recipe šŸ°šŸ„›

    Ingredients:
    – 1 cup whole milk
    – 5 tablespoons all-purpose flour
    – 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, room temperature
    – 1 cup granulated sugar
    – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

    Instructions:
    1. Prepare Milk Mixture:
    – In a medium saucepan over medium heat, whisk together the milk and flour.
    – Cook, whisking constantly, for 4 minutes, until the mixture thickens to a pudding-like consistency that coats the back of a spoon.
    – Remove from heat and let it cool to room temperature.

    2. Cream Butter and Sugar:
    – In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, cream together the butter and sugar on medium speed until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes.
    – Scrape down the sides of the bowl with a rubber spatula.

    3. Incorporate Milk Mixture:
    – Add the cooled milk mixture to the bowl of the stand mixer.
    – Beat on medium-high speed until the frosting is light and fluffy, scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed.

    4. Add Vanilla:
    – Switch to the whisk attachment.
    – Add vanilla extract and mix on high until the frosting is smooth and creamy.
