    These slow cooker Salisbury steak foil packets are an easy, comforting dinner made with just four main ingredients. Tender homemade beef patties cook slowly in a creamy mushroom and onion gravy, all inside individual foil packets for a flavorful meal with almost no cleanup.

    This simple crockpot Salisbury steak recipe is perfect for busy weeknights, family dinners, meal prep, or anyone who loves classic comfort food without spending hours in the kitchen.     2. Divide the beef mixture into 4 equal portions. Shape each portion into an oval Salisbury steak patty, about ¾ inch thick.
    3. In a small bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup and ketchup until smooth. This creamy mixture becomes the easy mushroom gravy.
    4. Tear 4 large sheets of heavy-duty aluminum foil, about 12 to 14 inches long. Place one Salisbury steak patty in the center of each foil sheet.
    5. Spoon the mushroom gravy evenly over the patties.
    6. Fold the foil tightly around each patty, sealing the edges well to keep the gravy and juices inside.
    7. Place the foil packets seam-side up in the slow cooker. Stack slightly if needed.
    8. Cover and cook on LOW for 5 to 6 hours or on HIGH for 2½ to 3 hours, until the beef is fully cooked and tender.
    9. Carefully open each packet away from your face, as hot steam will escape. Serve the Salisbury steak with the mushroom onion gravy spooned over the top.
