    Oven Baked Birria Ramen Noodles

If you’re looking for a viral comfort food recipe, this oven-baked birria ramen noodles dish is a total game-changer. Combining the rich, slow-braised flavor of traditional Mexican birria beef with the cozy goodness of instant ramen noodles, this easy recipe delivers bold, restaurant-quality flavor with minimal effort.

Perfect for gatherings, game nights, or busy weeknights, this one-pan oven-baked ramen recipe creates tender shredded beef and savory noodles in a deep, flavorful consommé—all using just 4 simple ingredients.

Why You’ll Love This Recipe (Benefits)

    • Only 4 ingredients – budget-friendly and simple
    • One-pan meal – easy cleanup
    • Hands-off cooking – oven does all the work
    • High-protein comfort food – filling and satisfying
    • Perfect for meal prep or crowds
    • Rich, authentic birria flavor without hours of effort

    Ingredients

    • 3 pounds boneless beef chuck roast (cut into chunks)
    • 2 (24 oz) jars birria-style cooking sauce (or marinade)
    • 4 cups low-sodium beef broth
    • 6 packs instant ramen noodles (seasoning packets discarded)

    Instructions

    Step 1: Prepare the Beef

Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C). Place beef chunks in a deep casserole dish in a single layer.

    Step 2: Add Flavor

Pour the birria cooking sauce over the beef, ensuring all pieces are fully coated. Add the beef broth around the sides until the liquid reaches about ¾ up the meat.

    Step 3: Slow Bake

Cover tightly with foil and bake for 2½ to 3 hours, until the beef is fork-tender and easily shreddable.

    Step 4: Shred the Beef

Remove from the oven and shred the beef directly in the dish. Mix it into the rich, red consommé.

    Step 5: Add Ramen Noodles

Increase oven temperature to 375°F (190°C). Break ramen noodles into chunks and submerge them into the broth.

    Step 6: Finish Cooking

Cover loosely and bake for 10–12 minutes, then uncover and bake another 3–5 minutes until noodles are tender and infused with flavor.

    Step 7: Serve & Enjoy

Let rest for 5 minutes, then serve hot with broth, beef, and noodles in bowls.

    Serving Suggestions

Enhance your birria ramen bowls with:

    • Fresh lime wedges
    • Chopped cilantro
    • Sliced jalapeños
    • Warm tortillas for dipping

    Variations & Tips

    • Add chipotle in adobo for extra spice
    • Swap beef with chicken thighs for a lighter version
    • Serve over spinach or cabbage for added nutrients
    • Add cheese for a rich, fusion twist
