    Instructions

    1. Prep the potatoes
      Wash and scrub baby potatoes thoroughly. Leave small ones whole; cut larger ones in half for even cooking.
    2. Prepare slow cooker
      Lightly grease the inside of a 4–6 quart slow cooker with butter or cooking spray.
    3. Add ingredients
      Place potatoes in the slow cooker. Add butter pieces and sprinkle salt evenly.
    4. Pour evaporated milk
      Slowly pour evaporated milk over the potatoes. They do not need to be fully submerged.
    5. Cook slowly
      • LOW: 4 1/2 to 5 1/2 hours
      • HIGH: 2 1/2 to 3 hours
        Cook until potatoes are fork-tender.
    6. Stir & finish
      Gently stir to coat potatoes in the creamy sauce. Adjust salt if needed.
    7. Rest before serving
      Let sit on WARM for 10–15 minutes to thicken the sauce.
