    This slow cooker BBQ chicken drumsticks recipe is a lifesaver for busy weeknights.     Directions

    3. Layer in Slow Cooker: Spoon a thin layer of the sauce at the bottom of a 4–6 quart slow cooker to prevent sticking. Add drumsticks in a snug layer, then pour remaining sauce on top. Turn drumsticks to coat evenly.
    4. Cook: Cover and cook on LOW for 4–5 hours or HIGH for 2.5–3 hours, until meat is tender, pulls from the bone, and fully cooked (no pink inside).
    5. Finish & Glaze: Transfer drumsticks to a plate, skim excess fat, then return them to the slow cooker to coat in thickened sauce. Let sit on WARM for 10–15 minutes for extra stickiness.
    6. Optional Caramelization: For a lightly charred finish, place drumsticks on a foil-lined baking sheet, brush with sauce, and broil for 3–5 minutes. Return to the slow cooker before serving.
