    Ultimate Stromboli Recipe

    This savory Stromboli recipe is a crowd-pleaser, perfect for dinner or parties! Stuffed with gooey mozzarella, pepperoni, Italian sausage, and fresh veggies, it’s a flavor-packed treat. The golden crust, brushed with egg wash, locks in all the delicious fillings. Serve it warm with marinara sauce for an irresistible dipping experience. Quick to prepare and baked to perfection, it’s a family favorite you’ll love!

    Ingredients:

    1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

    1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

    1/2 cup sliced pepperoni

    1/2 cup cooked and crumbled Italian sausage

    1/2 cup chopped bell peppers (any color)

    1/2 cup sliced mushrooms

    1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

    1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

    1 tablespoon olive oil

    1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)

    Marinara sauce (for dipping)

    Instructions:

    1. Preheat the Oven:
    Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.

    2. Prepare the Dough:
    Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a rectangular shape, approximately 12×16 inches.

    3. Layer the Fillings:

    Evenly sprinkle the mozzarella cheese across the dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.

    Add the sliced pepperoni, crumbled Italian sausage, chopped peppers, and mushrooms on top.

    Finish with Parmesan cheese and a sprinkle of Italian seasoning.

    4. Roll the Stromboli:
    Starting from one long edge, tightly roll the dough, sealing in the fillings. Pinch the seams and tuck in the ends to secure everything. Place the roll seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.

    5. Apply the Egg Wash:
    Brush the top of the Stromboli with beaten egg for a golden, glossy crust.

    6. Vent the Dough:
    Use a sharp knife to make small slits on top of the roll to allow steam to escape during baking.

    7. Bake:
    Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and fully cooked.

    8. Cool and Slice:
    Let the Stromboli cool for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve warm with marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
