    Thai Lime-Garlic Steamed Fish Recipe

     

     

    Thai Lime-Garlic Steamed Fish Recipe

    Just steamed this Thai Lime-Garlic Fish for dinner and it was a hit! Light, flavorful, and perfect for a healthy meal.

    Ingredients:
    – 4 fillets of white fish (such as cod or tilapia)
    – 2 limes, juiced and zested
    – 4 cloves of garlic, minced
    – 2 tablespoons fish sauce
    – 2 tablespoons soy sauce
    – 1 tablespoon sugar
    – 1 red chili, finely sliced
    – 1 bunch fresh cilantro, chopped
    – 1 tablespoon ginger, grated

    Directions:
    1. Rinse the fish fillets and pat dry with paper towels.
    2. In a small bowl, mix lime juice and zest, garlic, fish sauce, soy sauce, sugar, and grated ginger to create the marinade.
    3. Place the fish in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over it, ensuring the fish is evenly coated. Let it marinate for 15-20 minutes.
    4. Transfer the fish and marinade into a steaming dish. Sprinkle the sliced red chili and half of the chopped cilantro over the top.
    5. Steam the fish in a preheated steamer for about 10-12 minutes or until the fish is cooked through.
    6. Garnish with the remaining cilantro before serving.
