Ingredients:
1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
1 cup sour cream
1 (16 oz) can refried beans
1 (1 oz) packet taco seasoning mix
2 cups shredded Mexican blend cheese, divided
1 cup shredded Pepper Jack cheese
1 (4 oz) can diced green chilies, drained
Optional toppings: sliced green onions, diced tomatoes, chopped cilantro, jalapeño slices
Directions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9-inch or similar-sized baking dish.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, refried beans, and taco seasoning mix. Mix until smooth and well-blended.
3. Stir in 1 cup of the Mexican blend cheese, all the Pepper Jack cheese, and the diced green chilies. Mix thoroughly.
4. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
5. Top with the remaining 1 cup of Mexican blend cheese.
6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the dip is hot and bubbly, and the cheese on top is melted.
