Sweet & Spicy Pineapple Jalapeño Chutney

Get ready to elevate your meals with this bold, flavorful Spicy Pineapple Jalapeño Chutney! This tropical-inspired chutney brings the perfect balance of sweet, tangy, and spicy flavors. It’s ideal as a dip, grilled meat topping, or even as a marinade for seafood, chicken, or veggies!

    Ingredients:

1 medium ripe pineapple, peeled, cored & finely diced

2 to 3 fresh jalapeños, seeded & minced (adjust to your spice level)

1 small red onion, finely chopped

    1/4 cup apple cider vinegar

    1/4 cup brown sugar

    1 tsp ground ginger

    1 tsp ground cumin

    1/2 tsp salt

    1/4 tsp black pepper

Optional: 1 tbsp fresh lime juice for an extra zesty kick

    Directions:

    1. Prep the Ingredients: Dice the pineapple, mince the jalapeños, and chop the onion.

    2. Mix Together: In a saucepan, combine pineapple, jalapeños, onion, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, ginger, cumin, salt, and black pepper.

    3. Simmer: Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for about 15-20 minutes until thickened and the pineapple softens.

    4. Taste & Adjust: Add lime juice for a tangy twist if desired.

    5. Cool & Store: Let cool slightly, then store in a jar in the fridge.

    6. Serve & Enjoy: Perfect with grilled chicken, seafood, cheese boards, or tortilla chips!

This chutney is your go-to for tropical flair and bold spice!
