Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak Meatballs with Creamy Gravy

These Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak Meatballs are the ultimate comfort food, perfect for cozy nights and family dinners. Made with tender ground beef, savory spices, and simmered in a rich, creamy brown gravy, they’re bursting with flavor. The slow cooker does all the work, making this an easy hands-off meal. Serve them over mashed potatoes or rice for a hearty and satisfying dish. It’s a delicious twist on classic Salisbury steak that everyone will love!

    Ingredients:

    1 lb ground beef

    1/2 cup breadcrumbs

    1/4 cup finely chopped onion

    1 large egg

    1/2 tsp garlic powder

    1/2 tsp onion powder

Salt and black pepper to taste

    2 cups beef broth

    1 tbsp cornstarch

    1 tbsp water

    2 tbsp olive oil

    1/2 cup heavy cream

    Instructions:

    1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until fully combined.

    2. Form the mixture into 12 tender beef meatballs.

    3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Brown the meatballs in batches until golden on all sides. Transfer to your slow cooker.

    4. Deglaze the skillet with beef broth, scraping up all those flavorful browned bits. Pour this rich broth over the meatballs.

    5. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.

    6. Mix cornstarch and water into a slurry. Add the slurry and heavy cream to the slow cooker. Stir gently to blend. Cook another 20 minutes until the savory brown gravy thickens.

    7. Serve your slow-cooked Salisbury Steak Meatballs over mashed potatoes, rice, or egg noodles, generously smothered in that creamy homemade gravy.
